Here's What's Shakin'
Move aside pricey Omakase Burger of Singapore; Hello Real Deal!
I don't usually like processed cheese, but I can get with Shake Shack's velvet-y cheddar and American cheese sauce on the cheese fries ($3.85). The ShackMeister Ale ($5.25) goes very well with the fries and cheese sauce, and we like that this is the only alcoholic option available. The buns are soft, and just a bit sweet and the beef patties are cooked to a very slight hint of pink in the middle.
If you don't like red peppers, skip the SmokeShack (single, $6.25). Add the applewood smoked bacon ($1.25) instead to the classic ShackBurger (lettuce, diced tomatoes and Shacksauce - single, $4.75). And that Jelly's Last Donut concrete (single, $4.25)? Tastes just like PB&J. Who cares if we hit our daily ceiling with this meal at a full 2,530 calories??
