Brussels Sprouts Pizza
I've always loved brussels sprouts -- could be that its appearance marks the coming of certain seasons, a ritual we so disadvantageously miss in Singapore. Motorino's brussels sprouts pizza ($16) didn't disappoint - leaves of the cabbages are peeled off and scattered over a 12-inch pie with fior di latte, garlic, pecorino, smoked pancetta. The leaves are likely added at the end of cooking time, so only its edges char. I like the pie with the addiction of the strong dried chilli flakes. What, though, is up with the water glasses used for house wines?
